The physics of a bee’s body and wings makes it nearly impossible for it to fly, and yet they do! Bees beat their wings incredibly fast to compensate for their lack of aerodynamics. Because of Mabel’s disabilities, she had to work harder to accomplish most things many take for granted.

An Extraordinary Gift
The goal of the Mighty Mabel Foundation is to spread joy and extend kindness in Mabel’s memory by supporting various causes that are part of her life story: resources for families experiencing Down syndrome and congenital heart defects, NICU services, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, pediatric therapy grants, supporting inclusive opportunities for children with disabilities, and raising awareness for choking prevention.
MISSION: To create a “hive” that works together to advocate for special needs resources, educate about children with medical complexities and celebrate inclusivity and Down syndrome.
